NextPKI

Where teams start.

Four situations we hear most often, and what NextPKI does in each of them, so you can judge whether it fits before you write to us.

A renewal slipped once, and it must not happen again.

An IT team of two to five people, a few dozen certificates at a public CA and Let’s Encrypt, a spreadsheet that was right last quarter.

  • Install the sensor on one machine in each network segment; it maps what serves TLS, including the systems nobody documented.
  • Verify your domains and get every publicly issued certificate for them from Certificate Transparency.
  • Expiry alerts 30, 14, 7 and 1 day ahead, in the mailbox and in Teams or Slack.
  • Connect your CA accounts, so the alert becomes an approval instead of a task.

Several CAs and several platforms, one list.

An infrastructure team with a commercial CA for the main domains, Let’s Encrypt for the rest, certificates on load balancers, in a cloud account and at a hoster.

  • One inventory regardless of issuer or platform: if it answers a TLS handshake, it is in the list, with every endpoint where it was seen.
  • Certificates with no known source stand out, so you can decide whether they are yours.
  • Organisations and roles let each team see and change what is theirs.
  • Renewals run through each CA account and land on the target that serves the certificate.

The auditor asks which certificates you run and who can touch them.

A regulated organisation that must show control over its certificate estate and the people acting on it.

  • Export the inventory as CSV, with issuer, validity and the systems where each certificate was observed.
  • Show the roles in place, the SSO connection in use, and the audit log of changes.
  • An issuer policy flags every certificate from a CA you have not approved.
  • Operated from the EU by a German company; a data processing agreement is part of every contract.

You look after certificates for several customers.

A managed service provider or hoster that wants one place to watch every customer environment without mixing them up.

  • Organisations below your tenant keep customers apart, with roles per organisation.
  • Alert webhooks per channel, so each customer’s notifications reach the right people.
  • Connectors to each customer’s CA accounts and targets, so a renewal runs end to end.
  • The API answers the same questions for your own tooling.

Does one of these sound like yours?
